The Lost World - This is a pretty snazzy (and snazzy-looking) site devoted to all things related to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's classic fantasy novel, including movies, games, and general essays. It's been years since I read the book, but this site looks interesting, and provocative, even if you aren't that familar with the book. (It also has a link to our movie section, but that's neither here nor there).

Here are some links to some on-line bookstores. Now, to be honest, I've never ordered anything on-line (at least so far) so I can't vouch for the service. Still, it's fun to go to these sites, and get info on what's out there.

Amazon - The so-called "World's Biggest Bookstore", this American site often has mini reader-submitted book reviews (which are fun to read) and accepts checks and money orders for those who don't like sending credit card numbers via the internet. However, it is American, so if you aren't, you have to figure out the exchange rate, plus there are custom duties, etc.

ChaptersGlobe and Indigo are two on-line versions of Canadian bookstore chains (which means, for Canadians, the prices are actually in Canadian dollars). Unfortunately, neither accepts anything but credit cards (and I know a lot of people who are unwilling to send their credit card numbers over the internet). Additionally, ChaptersGlobe has (some) cover scans and, like Amazon, has a place for reader reviews...I've just never come across any, yet.
